A wise man once told me that whatever you decide to do in life do it with honesty, love, and integrity.
In the last few years I have built my business on these fundamental beliefs and I look forward to many great years ahead.
With time and age trees need guidance and care. When fine pruning a tree, we utilize roping and rigging techniques - without having to use spikes which can be damaging. Preservation is the most essential aspect of our work. Typically trees are only removed if they pose a hazard or affecting property potential.
Take this old oak for example - as you can see in the photos below, it has been in a battle to heal itself due to to overgrowth and time - dropping large branches and damaging property below. With weight reduction and unhealthy limbs let go, this once fatal oak can now flourish and grow for years to come.
Roping and Rigging Techniques
Q: Do you use spikes to climb? A: No, only when a tree is being removed are spikes used. They can actually be harmful to the health of your tree, digging into the cambium layer to cause damage.
We specialize in technical roping & rigging to keep your trees healthy, transforming them from the inside out. In the series of clips below - you can further come to understand the process of rope climbing.
Rope Climbing
First we use a throwline, with a weight on either end. The weighted end is either tossed up by hand or placed into the 8 foot sling shot (known as 'The Big Shot'), and precisely aimed for a safe crotch in the canopy above. A climbing rope is then tied on to the end of the throwline, and pulled through. Watch the video clip below to see this process in action.
Zip-line
Often, there are obstacles to avoid when lowering branches - fences, landscaping or even the home itself. In the video clip below, watch as a branch is effectively zip-lined - moving safely from point A to point B, to land gently on the targeted landing zone.
Lowering
Potentially hazardous trees are commonly removed as a a safety precaution and can often be found looming over a home, propane tank, deck - you name it. In the clip below watch as a fairly large branch is cut and gently lowered to a designated area, between the propane tank and house below.

With roots growing into a small creek; this heavily saturated oak toppled over. This can be prevented with proper foresight - if you think you may have a potentially dangerous tree - don't hesitate to call. In hazardous situations like these, we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Living in this environment, we are fortunate to have beautiful views of nature. Often, these views remain unseen as they are blocked by towering trees. We can preserve trees and selectively remove unwanted brush or saplings to enhance or obtain a stunning view! In the photos below, we raised the canopy of neighboring trees and removed selective brush, as well as two smaller trees - now the view opens up the sky and lake, extending your view to the ridge.
